Kroger Community Rewards Program

Every time you swipe your Registered Kroger Card, a percentage of the amount you spend will be donated by Kroger to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Society, Bloomington, IN.

Be sure to have your Kroger Plus card handy when you register. If you do not yet have a Kroger Plus card, pick one up at the customer service desk at any Kroger Store.

When asked, enter the NPO number FS124 so that your donation will be directed to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Bloomington, IN.

Scrap Metal

Scrap Metal Donations

You would have never thought that there is a connection between the scrap metal in your garage and a possibility to help the poor, but there is and it is easy:

​

Bring your scrap metal to JB's Salvage  at 1803 Fountain Dr, Bloomington and mention Saint Vincent de Paul Society, SVDP. At the end of the month, JB's will send a check to SVDP. SVDP assists the poor in Monroe County.

​

Hours at Bloomington Iron and Metal are Monday through Friday

8 AM to 5 PM & on Saturdays 8 AM to 12 PM

 Metals accepted include:

  • aluminum

  • brass

  • copper

  • tin

Shop at Booth C35 at the Antique Mall & Mention SVDP

HOLIDAY SHOPPING WHILE HELPING SVDP
Would you like to help support the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and do some holiday shopping at the same time?

Between Friday, November 4th and Sunday, November 20th, visit Booth C35 at the Bloomington Antique Mall.  Denise Lessow, a longtime St. Vincent de Paul friend, will donate 25% of the proceeds of any purchases in her double booth or case to help support our important work.

This includes hundreds of unique music boxes, rosaries, clocks, animal figures, cast iron, bookends, pewter, antique and collectible musical instruments, holiday items, costume jewelry, and so many more gift items.  As an added bonus, she is having a 20% off sale!  The Bloomington Antique Mall is open 7 days a week from 10 am to 6 pm and is located on the B-line at 311 W 7th Street in downtown Bloomington.  There is parking next to the building, and a handicapped-accessible ramp on the east side.

When you check out, just tell the clerk that you are supporting Bloomington St. Vincent de Paul".

A wonderful way to fill that shopping list and help those in our community feel the relief of keeping a roof over their heads and heat in their homes.
